Structure:

USES:

This product is a broad-spectrum antibiotic of aminoglycoside, the antibacterial spectrum is similar to neomycin. It mainly caused serious infection to gram-negative bacteria such as escherichia coli, klebsiella, proteus, pneumoniae, enterobacter aerogenes and shigella, and also had good antibacterial effect on drug-resistant staphylococcus aureus. Clinically, it is mainly used for pulmonary infection, urinary tract infection, biliary tract sepsis and abdominal cavity infection caused by sensitive bacteria, and the latter two are often combined with other antibiotics. It can also be used in staphylococcus aureus infections that are resistant to other antibiotics and are sensitive to this product. For the treatment of tuberculosis, this product can be used as a second line drug.

Principle:

This product is mainly combined with bacterial ribosome 30S subunit to inhibit bacterial protein synthesis. In recent years, the number of drug-resistant strains has increased significantly. Some bacteria produce aminoglycoside passivase, which makes them lose their antibacterial activity. Kanamycin had complete cross-resistance with streptomycin and neomycin, and partial cross-resistance with other aminoglycosides.

This product is mainly combined with bacterial ribosome 30S subunit to inhibit bacterial protein synthesis.
