Levodropropizine is a chiral antitussive drug, the drug is by acting on the C - fiber in respiratory tract and inhibit cough reflex, clinical treatment for drama's no dry cough, sputum compared with other cough medicine available, this product belongs to the peripheral cough medicine, there is almost no effect on the central system, its good selectivity, antitussive effect is strong, and no drowsiness, respiratory depression, dependence and other side effects, compared with the racemic form, it has fewer side effects.
Identification method:
1. Take the appropriate amount of fine powder (approximately equivalent to 60mg of levohydroxypropiperazine), add 10ml water, shake, filter, take the filtrate, drop the test solution of trinitrophenols, that is, produce yellow precipitation.
2. In the chromatogram recorded under the content determination item, the retention time of the main peak of the test solution should be consistent with the retention time of the main peak of the control solution.
3. An appropriate amount of fine powder (approximately equivalent to lhydroxypropiperazine 12mg) was taken, dissolved and diluted with water to make a solution containing approximately 12ug LML of LML. After filtration, the filtrate was taken and determined by uv-vis spectrophotometry (general rule 0401). The maximum absorption was found at the wavelength of 237mn and the minimum absorption was found at the wavelength of 217mn.
4. An appropriate amount of fine powder (approximately equivalent to levohydroxypropiperazine 120mg) was taken, water was added 50ml, and then methane digas was added 20ml, which was then shaken and extracted. The dichloromethane layer was evaporated in a water bath at 60°C, and the residue was dried at reduced pressure for 12 hours.
