Product details:
Linezolid is a protein synthesis inhibitor of bacteria. It ACTS on the bacterial 50S ribosome subunit and is closest to the active site. Unlike other drugs, linezolid does not affect peptidyl transferase activity, but only ACTS at the initiation stage of the translation system, inhibiting mRNA binding to ribosome, preventing 70S initiation complex formation, and thus inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis. Linezolid has a unique location and way of action, so it is not easy for positive bacteria with essential or acquired drug resistance to develop cross-resistance with other antibacterial drugs that inhibit protein synthesis, and it is also not easy to induce bacterial resistance in vitro.
For the treatment of the following infections caused by specific microbe sensitive strains:
1. Infections caused by enterococcus faecalis resistant to vancomycin, including concurrent bacteremia;
2. Nosocomial acquired pneumonia (hap), the pathogenic bacteria are staphylococcus aureus (methicillin-sensitive or methicillin-resistant beads) or streptococcus pneumoniae (including multi-drug resistant strains [MDRSP]). If gram-negative pathogen infection has been confirmed or suspected, clinical application of anti-gram-negative bacteria drugs should be combined;
3. Complex skin or skin soft tissue infections (ssti), including diabetic foot infections without osteomyelitis, are caused by staphylococcus aureus (methicillin-sensitive or methicillin-resistant beads), streptococcus pyosus, or streptococcus anthracis. There are no studies on linezolid in the treatment of bedsore.
Linezolid should be used to treat complex skin or skin soft tissue infections only when microbiological tests indicate a sensitive gram-positive bacterial infection. Linezolid should be used only when no other effective treatment is available if the presence of a confirmed or suspected co-infection with gram-negative pathogens, and anti-gram-negative drugs must also be used in combination;
4. Uncomplicated skin or skin soft tissue infection caused by staphylococcus aureus (only methicillin-sensitive beads);
5. Community acquired pneumonia (cap) and associated bacteremia are caused by streptococcus pneumoniae (including multidrug-resistant strains [MDRSP]) or by staphylococcus aureus (only methicillin-sensitive beads).
