Summary:

Neomycin sulfate is an aminoglycoside antibiotic. This product has good antibacterial effect on staphylococcus (methicillin-sensitive strain), corynebacterium, escherichia coli, klebsiella, proteus and other enterobacteriaceae bacteria, but poor activity against streptococcus, streptococcus pneumoniae, enterococcus and other bacteria in each group. Pseudomonas aeruginosa, anaerobe and so on are resistant to this product. The bacteria had partial or complete cross-resistance to streptomycin, neomycin, kanamycin and gentamicin. Systemic neomycin has significant nephrotoxicity and ototoxicity, so it is only used orally or locally.

USES:

1. It is a broad-spectrum antibiotic with good effects on staphylococcus aureus, bacillus diphtheria and bacillus anthracis.

2. Broad-spectrum antibiotics have good effects on golden grape, diphtheria bacillus and anthrax bacillus.

3. An aminoglycoside antibiotic.
