This product can be used as a drug of choice for the following diseases :(1) rickettsial disease, including epidemic typhus, endemic typhus, Los Angeles fever, scrub typhus, and Q fever. (2) mycoplasma infection. (3) chlamydia infection, including parrot fever, venereal disease, lymphatic caryodontia, non-specific urethritis, salpingitis, cervicitis and trachoma. (4) relapsing fever. (5) brucellosis. (6) cholera. (7) rabbit fever. (8) the plague. (9) chancre. Brucellosis and bubonic plague should be treated in combination with aminoglycosides.
